I am finding that there are many products that I cannot set thresholds for. What exactly are the limitations on being able to set a threshold. In future releases will we be able to set thresholds for all products? Is so, when?
One product I am looking at is Appscan. This product appears in software classification, but not All Metrics. The metric for this product is “Authorized User Single Install”.
According to the documentation, the Authorized User Single Install metric is only available for IBM products in the All Metrics report.
License metric that is assigned to the product. The metrics fall into three categories:
- Metrics for which utilization is calculated, including:
* (9.2.7) Install Instances
* (Base) Install Seats
* (9.2.7) Microsoft Physical Core with SA
* (9.2.7) Microsoft Virtual Core with SA
* (Base) Processor Value Unit (PVU)
* (Base) Resource Value Unit (RVU MAPC)
- (9.2.7) Metrics for which calculating utilization is not yet supported. These metrics are available only for IBM products.
- (9.2.7) Metric is unknown
The aggregation process is being updated in future releases. As you can see, 9.2.7 added Install Instances, which applies to non-IBM products as well as IBM.
