what happens if I install SUA 9.2 scanner to a client which already has a TAD4D agent ?
Which version of TAD4D?
SUA 9.2 is meant to replace TAD4D, but I believe the older TAD4D agent didn’t use BigFix to do what it does, so it should actually be able to coexist if that is the case, but I am most definitely not certain of this since I have never used TAD4D.
7.5.0.119 server
7.5.0.119 and 7.5.0.117 agents
When I install BigFix SUA Scanner, It overwrites TAD4D 's scanner (C:\Program Files(x86)\Tivoli/cit)
BigFix side is OK, it can complete scan processes but for TAD4D, I should clear some points:
can TAD4D complete scans successfully?
what happens if both of TAD4D and Bigfix starts scan at the same time ?
what happens if Bigfix upgrades scanner to higher version than TAD4D can handle ?
In the documents, it is indicated that these can coexist, but there is no information about these issues ?
