BigFix Inventory 10.0.3 Question

Running BigFix Inventory 10.0.3 on Windows. Imports are running fine, no issues, but under management: Scan Configurations The Scan status is stopped. When I select the box to enable it and save the change I get an error that the scan action could not be sent to the BigFix server. Again the imports from the BigFix server are running fine so I am not sure why I am getting the error. Any ideas??

In the BFI “Data Sources” page there is a BigFix Operator account that is used when BFI sends actions. If that account’s password is out of sync, or if the account in the Root Server is not allowed to connect to the API or is not allowed to send actions, you’d get an error like that.

You can still get successful imports if the computers aren’t performing software scans (with limited results since the full-disk scans aren’t happening) ; or you may have the scans set up and running directly from actions taken by a BigFix Console operator, without using the BFI web interface to send the scan actions.
