Hi,

I am newbie to BigFix. I am currently looking into the system requirements for TEM server.

I find as below,

•Windows 2008 (x86/x64) Enterprise - BigFix 7.1+

•Windows 2003 (x86/x64) Enterprise - BigFix 6.0+

  1. Can I assume that BigFix 7.1+, can be installed on windows 2003?

  2. Can I install database on another server?

Windows 2008 is recommended, but you wont be blocked from installing it on 2003 if you wish (i’ve had a server installed on XP before).

You can install a database on another machines.

Hi Zak,

All the server requirements in the installation documents is with BES server installed with database on a single server. Can you provide me the server requirements for Database?
