Endpoints used by remote workers are often in private or NATed IP space. For purposes such as troubleshooting, isolating relay traffic utilizations, etc, it is often useful to have the endpoint’s public IP address as well as the local address. To this end, inspectors that distinguish “local ip address” from “public ip address” would be very useful.
