BigFix external sites re-publication

Hello,

in the next few days and weeks BigFix external sites will be re-published to update the site content signature, in preparation for the upcoming BigFix 11 release.

The re-publication will be transparent for the users, so no action is expected from you at this time.

If you see a new site version that is not announced through the usual channels, this means the site is being re-published as per above, with no content change.

We don’t expect any problem to arise as a consequence but, should you experience any issue, please report it through customer support.

Are there any plans to notify people when a site is republished?

Hello, yes the site version numbers will be increased, as with any site publication. And no, as mentioned, we plan to send notification (forum and besadmin announcement) only if the publication include changes to the actual content.
