We are planning to prepare the Disaster Recovery procedure for our bigfix server.
Is it possible to export the root server configuration and then import it after re-installing the server on the same or in other machine?
This is essentially a server migration under duress

I have done the migration as a planned exercise - under duress is a different proposition, partly contrained by data currency at the point of last backup, but it could potentially get you out of a hole.
