I’m building a new desktop system and before I load the OS, I was wondering if any one has installed the Bigfix console on a windows 7 box. If so have you had any trouble?

Hi Marty,
I have been running the BigFix Console under Windows 7 for a few weeks, and I have not had any issues.
So thumbs up from me.

Thanks for the info, I did have an issue installing it on my system, but after talking with Bigfix support we figured out it was becuase I was installing it on a 64 bit version of Windows 7 and I was reconfguring the 64 Bit ODBC connection entrie and I needed to run C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe and reconfigure the 32 bit connect info. Afte I did that, I was fine.

Hi Marty23,
Would you be able to share how you reconfigured the 64 Bit ODBC and 32bit connection info? I was facing some issues when using bigfix on a 64bit platform
