BigFix Client 9.5.x fails to install - Windows 10

I am having a hard time installing the BigFix Client 9.5.x on Windows 10 systems in my environment. The error I get during setup is:
BigFix app not found after BigFix_Client_Setup.exe completed

The installer works for most systems, but a number of clients are now reporting this and new reports come in daily.

I’m attaching a copy of the verbose logging I’ve captured. I can see that the installer can not be found, but I don’t know why it can’t be found.

Are you running this MSI silently?

What I’ve found is that the machines experiencing this issue all seem to have this in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\Installer\Products\DC6E6D22329FFEF458FB95DB88F7DBF5

This key contains a path to a temp location of the installer. The logs above show 2 different temp locations for BigFixAgent.msi. Removing this key will allow the installer to complete. I suspect there is some uninstalling/reinstalling of the client happening during the machine provisioning, but that’s not confirmed yet.

The .exe is run silently, FWIW.
