I have trying to run the fixlet to upgrade the besclient to version 7.2.5.22, however it is failing on all of our citrix servers. At first I thought that it may be that we change the C: to M: on the server, but when I run the relevance through QnA, it show the correct path of M:… , as excpected.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? thanks
Completed if {exists key “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BigFix\Brand” whose (exists value “value” whose (it as string = “Trend”) of it) of registry}
Failed wait “{pathname of client folder of site “BESSupport” & “\StopServiceThenRunProgram.exe”}” BESClient “__Local\Get\BESClientUpgrade.exe -s -a -f2”{location of regapp “BESClient.exe”}\upgrade-7.2.5.22.log""
Hmmm… That error indicates that it couldn’t execute the application “StopServiceThenRunProgram.exe” (which would most likely be caused by not finding the file).
What does the client log say at this time… I bet you are right and there is a path problem of some sort…
Log file: I notice that once this fixlet runs, it fails out, but also the bes client service is stopped and I have to go restart it. At that point it checks back in with a Failed status.
