BigFix AirGap

(imported topic written by Mike_Wilson91)

For those who need to use tools such as MakeMirrorArchive and BESDownloadCacher in order to migrate fixlet and patch content from your open network to a lab environment or other disconnected network, I’ve written a utility to assist with that. An overview and download can be found here:

When I try and to an archive with content it start adding the sha1 to archive it write about 3 sha1 ones then I get an Error “Error: Encountered error during archive creation: Directory not empty -” i look in the temp file and the few it wrote is there. This is a great tool and would really like to get the archive functionality working. Is there something that needs to be done before creating the archive? using version 1.0.1

I’ve seen something like that before, but I thought I had it fixed. Assuming it’s the same thing, the error is caused during cleanup of some temp files, but the archive itself should be complete. Is the archive not being created, or are you finding that the archive file doesn’t contain everything that you expect it to (you can crack open the archive file using the BFArchive utility: bfarchive.exe -x myarchive.aga .)

I’m finding that the AirGap tool seems to say it has imported the first 3 sha1’s, and then just hangs. I get a not responding at top menu bar. Any suggestions on how to solve?
