Hi We have had a failure on RHEL and we cant find any clues as to what has happened

  • last log bes.log

The logs will always show failure when the action ends as the client restarts. When the client restarts you should see the success criteria of the action re-evaluated and if the upgrade succeeded it will move that action to a true. What is the subsequent part of the log?
