BigFix 9.2.7 Upgrade Issue

Hi Guys,

I updated my Production environment to v9.2.7 and after upgrade, I am not able to the correct number of sites in the environment.

Also, the number of relays deployed is coming as 0.

Is there some step that needs to be done.

I performed a manual upgrade with the below mentioned steps:

  1. Updates Installer files using - Updated Windows Installation Folders - IBM BigFix version 9.2.7 Now Available! fixlet.
  2. Ran updated setup file for BES Server v9.2.7.
  3. Installed updated setup for BES Console v9.2.7

After this I ran the console and it showed lesser number of sites while loading as well as 0 reported relays.

Any idea where I screwed up ?

Have you executed the bes admin tool?

Possibly a corrupt local cache. Maybe clear the cache and restart the console.

What have you tried to resolve the issue?

Thanks for your response, well the relays and sites checked in after clearing the cache. I did see something odd though, on loading the console, it shows lesser number of sites while loading but once in the console, I see the correct number of sites.

Just wondering if BF console now only shows internal sites while loading or id they made any change to it.

The count of sites is your “External” sites so make sure you are looking at the same numbers. This doesn’t include custom sites or actionsites.
