I was wondering if there was some sort of published new feature list for BigFix 8? I have seen some mentioned of AD integration and I was wondering if that was only for Web Reports or if that will also happen for the console. Also wondering what other new features are being introduced.

So the short answer to this question is that we are scared to talk about potential upcoming features… There are strange rules for software companies about what happens when we publicly mention new features. Problems can include things like getting in trouble with customers if we need to delay or change our mind about features… but there are also weird financial rules about what happens if customers buy a product and expect features and it can cause problems for our accounting and finance teams…
We hope to get clarity soon on what we are allowed and not allowed to say publicly…

we are having a meeting with our BigFix partners at the end of the week to discuss v8. I am sure I will pry as much information from those guys
