BESGather service cant reach the internet

I have completed a production install of the BigFix server after obtaining a .beslicenseauthorization file but when i run the diagnostics tool I see that the BESGather service cannot reach the internet.

What should be done to remedy this?

Also where do I get masthead files for the sites I’m interested in?

From the attachments you can see that not even the BigFix Management site shows up on the console and no ODBC DSNs are setup…

Are there any hidden steps? Like is it neccessary to manually create a database user?

The Gather URL is accessible from a browser so I don’t think there is an accessibility issue…just that the Gather service is not able to access the URL. Am lost…any help appreciated…
