BESduplicatecomputerremoval tool not working in 7.0.7

(imported topic written by jlamb23)

I frequently use the BESduplicateremoval-5.19.exe tool to remove duplicate entries in my database. After upgrading the BES Server and Console to 7.0.7, I can no longer run this tool and I receive an error that says “Database Version Incorrect. Expected versions 1.56, 1.58 or 1.96 but the current database is Enterprise 1.97.”

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a new tool that supports this version?

thx

Joe

I get the same error message…

I use that puppy to deal with duplicates due to our use of Faronics DeepFreeze on some workstations.

Hopefully it comes soon…

We will have that updated shortly and put on the download utility page.

The BES tools set have been updated already but you do need to download the latest version of all the tools to be compatible with the 7.0.7 database.
