I have schedule task enabled for window servers to auto check if agent is down and restart it at nightly basis. Can someone let me know if BESHelper service better than this settings which i have currently in the environment?
There are some things the BESHelper can do a bit better than the modern Windows OS’s but some things it cannot so I’d say that you should use it if it helps you. The clients are installed on Modern OS’s with first and second failure causing a Restart of the service and that count resets daily.
The BESClient Helper was made prior to the OS’s having this support built in.
