Hello,
Is the Helper Service still a BF recommended control? I know it had once been thought of to be a temporary solution for troubleshooting. Should we have this service deployed everywhere? Will it become unnecessary in version 8? We had been deploying everywhere at one point and then it lost traction. Curious if it’s still recommended to have a full deployment of it. Thanks!

Hi Mike,
The main reason we built the client helper service was to help with this painful issue:

You certainly can continue to use it to deal with agents that might stop working, but it really is designed to be used only as a troubleshooting tool…
So I would say that if you don’t appear to have any issues with your agents then you can disable the helper service.
