bes_EnterpriseServer ODBC System DSN

I have an entry in my 32 bit ODBC DSN for bes_EnterpriseServer, and I am wondering if I can delete it. This entry is not in the 64 bit ODBC DSN. It does not test out successful. In fact, it fails on the second configuration screen. The driver it is using is the SQL Server Native Client 10.0. Is this ODBC entry left over from some previous version of Bigfix?

The bes_EnterpriseServer DSN was leveraged with older versions of BigFix (and used SQL authentication if I recall). It is likely safe to delete (I’d suggest backing up the ODBC registry keys prior to doing so in case you need to re-create it for any reason - https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms714818(v=vs.85).aspx).

I’m guessing that it fails on the second configuration screen because the ‘connect to SQL server to obtain default settings…’ option is checked and you did not supply SQL credentials. If you uncheck that option (or provide SQL credentials), you should be able to view the remaining configuration options.
