Hi all,
I’ve just ran the 7.2.5.22 upgrade on our version 7.2.4.60 BES server
The diagnostics which ran at the end of the upgrade fail with the following;
Test Failed: BESMirrorRequest Plugin Reason: The GetHttp call failed with error err_SOCKET_RECEIVE Result ---------- 11 out of 12 tests passed
I searched the forums for this result and found this post from user Shlomi http://forum.bigfix.com/viewtopic.php?id=2712
Similar to Shlomi, our BES does appear to be working but is very slow. I’ll try to preempt some questions now;
Task Manager shows BesRootServer.exe using 5,6 or 8 threads.
The wwwrootbes\bfmirror\downloads folder shows over 25,000 folders.
We have 86 open actions, 43 stopped and 353 expired.
I downloaded the BESDownloadsCleaner.exe from http://software.bigfix.com/download/bes/util/BESDownloadsCleaner.exe and ran it with the following switches;
BESDownloadsCleaner.exe -N 10 -w -W \downloadcleaner.txt
it showed the following;
Connect to database…
Database version incorrect. Expected versions 1.56, 1.58, 1.96, 1.97 or 1.98 but the current database is Enterprise 1.99
