Hi,
I just upgraded from version 7.2.5.22 to 8.0.584 (using the fixlet message). But when I launch the BES console, I have the below message:
A connection to the “BES_bfenterprise” database could not be established, because it has a version of Enterprise
1.99, and this application requires a database version of Enterprise 2.18.
The database was previously on MSDE2000 (installed by BigFix).
Any advice ?

Just saw from the website thta BES 8.0 does not support MSDE2000 and the database needs to be upgraded prior to installation.
Now that I have upgraded BES first before upgrading the database, any remedy steps ?

I sure hope someone fixes this soon…I dont have a console to log in anywhere even at the server.

i called IBM today…cause 1 i was curious and 2 i really need this fixed… OMG can sum up my experience
miss the good ole days when you could call and understand people and get your stuff fixed or an idea on how to fix it within minutes. if anyone has a better route other than ibm please let me know.
