Bare Metal OS Deployment in BigFix 9.5.0.311

Hi,

I’ve been trying to set up Bare Metal OS Deployment and it stubbornly refuses to work.

-Health Checks all pass
-I’ve successfull deployed a MDT Bundle and used it to upload to the Bundle and Media Manager
-Several captured images are in the Image Library
-Images have a Bare Metal Profile configured for them
-I have the latest version of TPMfOSD for 32/64 bit uploaded into the BigFix Console

Despite all this I cannot find the option to deploy a Bare Metal OS Deployment server, and indeed there is nothing under Manage Bare Metal Servers -> Server Management

Running the installer manually also fails, though I’m not certain whether I’m even supposed to install TPMfOSD manually instead of deploying it from the BigFix Console.
Unfortunately, I cannot find just where to deploy them from or how.

I can’t shake the feeling I’m missing something very basic. Any and all help will be appreciated.

Hi,

Start by installing a Relay and Proxy Agent to a Windows Server 2003 or up. After that, you should be able to deploy the Bare Metal Server by the “Manage Bare Metal Servers -> Server Management” dashboard clicking in the “Install…” button in the top left corner of the “Installed OS Deployment Servers” panel.
