Hey lukibest,
It appears that your propagation mechanism is looking for a file that doesn’t exist and therefore can’t do the differencing process. It could be related to a disk space issue, a corrupted file, a bug, a permissions issue, or other factors. I suggest you start a support ticket to troubleshoot.

ok i reinstall bigfix and i have now problem with database" Database Error:

Hello
I reinstalled once again BES and everythink working fine but today i distributed task and stop action with this task and i have again this message “Attempt to diff file that was not in archived site listing” What is it? why it happen?

I’m still try to answer on this error message and i found log file in C:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\PropServerData, on the end line there is error. Maybe it’ll be helpfull. And i contact with support few times but thay didn’t respond.

Someone know why i have still this message. I reinstalled many times BES server and after send few action this error message show up again and i have to reinstall server. WHY it happen. Who can help me?

The error indicates that you cannot send actions properly because the “diff site generation” process that allows the agents to gather only differences (instead of the full site) can’t find the previous versions of the site to diff against. I don’t know why this is happening and this error is not something that occurs often with other customers. You can try this:

I send emil to support but they didn’t respond… Your solution working but only once time. Everytime when i want something do i have to delete contents directory sitearchive.

Perhaps your email account is blocking our emails to you because we responded directly to you shortly after your email was sent this morning.
Our response was that it looks like your database has a corrupted row for some unknown reason and it is causing these issues. We believe we can fix it by making a small change in your database and we think we can adjust our next release of BigFix to prevent this corrupted row from triggering a problem.
