We have a unique requirement in which we need to capture the details such as Annual Maintenance expiration dates (Hardware support) for all the machines on which the BES clients are installed. The whole idea behind this is to keep a track of systems for which the Annual maintenance is getting expired and get it renewed. The challenge is that these details are nowhere hard coded in the system and is available with the management on paper. We are seeking for a solution on how to get this information in bigfix database and get the relevance going so that the machines for which the Annual maintenance gets expired becomes relevant and we can take the action on them.
Like wise there are number of parameters present that are on paper and are required in bigfix by the customer to keep a track of all these things through bigfix.
This is a challenge because you will need to set the maintenance times on the computers themselves if you want to use relevance to detect certain conditions… Where is this data stored currently?

The Data is stored in a Excel File. Kindly let us know how to copy the file to the target computers and create custom analysis to retrieve the required properties from this file to generate the desired reports.
We have a similar issue but I am approaching it from another direction.
Is there a way to extract the system information bigfix is gathering via WMI and dump it into another database where warranty info etc… can be entered into a different table?
Exploring the big fix database it is not obvious where the data being gathered about coputers is stored.
Extracting data from BigFix about the computers, Fixlets, etc. and dumping them into another table is much easier compared to sticking data from other systems into BigFix (the key reason being that the BigFix agents need to know about the data as Shiva is talking about). There are a number of ways to extract the data from BigFix including:

Could you please tell me, How to add data directly to Bigfix Database?
In our case, client will provide AMC details in a database file with IP address/computer name as private key. So the task is how to integrate AMC database with Original Bigfix Database. Is it possible or not?
If its not possible, I would like to give them a new scenario like i will place a web page (front end) in wwfrootbes folder of Bigfix Server
Make all the users to browse that web page and they will fill AMC details. Finally they will click on submit button that automatically saves the amc details in a text file on their system.
I ll then access the text file from the client’s systems and i can add the AMC details to retrieved properties using bigfix
Is this procedure recommended or not? Please Suggest regarding this
I think there are a lot of open issues with your suggestion and I think we need a direct discussion because this integration sounds more complicated than can be handled over forum posts. My suggestion is to contact Professional Services to discuss a project around this:
