Asset Discovery (unmanaged asset tab) on remote console

Hi,

how do i get the “unmanaged asset” tab to appear on my remote console?

i am guessing this has something to do with the “UnmanagedAssetImporter-NMAP” service, which does not exist on the computer which runs the remote console.

Hi Shlomi,

You need to have Asset Discovery Fixlet site subscribed, you need to install the Unmanaged Asset Importer, and you need to install and run a scan. More info here: http://support.bigfix.com/bes/sites/assetdiscovery.html
