App-V Site - Analysis hidden from console

(imported topic written by SystemAdmin)

We were taking a look at this new site and noticed something peculiar. When we are in the App-V dashboard, there are two analyses that need to be activated. The one called App-V Client Status behaves as expected. But the one called App-V Client Settings seems to be a bit strange. By strange, I mean I can click on the link in the dashboard and see the analysis but I cannot find the analysis anywhere else in the console. It just does not show up. Thoughts?

It should be there. You should be able to find it in Systems Lifecycle Domain -> Software Distribution -> Analyses or numerous places under the All Systems Lifecycle node, either through the Analyses node there or drilling down in the Client Manager for Application Virtualization site node.

Further adding, this could just be that you don’t have Show Non-Relevant Content selected, and so the Client Settings Analyses is not relevant for any machines yet.

Whooooooops. So I guess I never realized an Analysis could be non-relevant. RTFM I guess. Thanks for waking me from my nap.
