I’m trying to configure the Apple IOS Extender.

I select my Tivoli Relay, Select the Cert and receive "an error ocurred while importing the XML. Custom action permissions are needed to create actions.

also, I have created the push.cer file, but am not sure what the push_key.pem file is or how to generate that or if it is required.

Okay I have gotten rid of the xml security error. For some reason when logging into tivoli as the admin account it won’t work, but logged in as myself it does. ??

Installed Management Extender Update.

Recreated cert from an ipad vs PC, sent to IBM and uploaded to tivoli server.

Reboot Server

Downloaded IBM endpoint Manager APP

Server now seeing ipads

Hey pvogt,

Glad you got it working.

In general, if you need to make new Fixlets based on the dashboards (Android security policies, iOS profiles, wifi settings, etc.) then you need to have the permission “Create Custom Content” for your BigFix user. However, if you are just running the Fixlets that someone else created, then you don’t need this permission.
