In your BigFix Console, go to “License Overview” and enable “Patching Support” in addition to “Patches for AIX.”
Refresh your console; you’re looking for those two sites to now appear in “External Sites” under “Manage Sites” in the sidebar. Once they’re there, subscribe the relevant computers to the new sites.
Under “Patch Management” -> “Sites” -> “External Sites” -> “Patching Support” -> “Dashboards” select “Manage Download Plug-ins”. If you’re prompted to take any actions at the top of the page, do so (something about encryption, IIRC).
Click on your server/relay name; at the bottom, click “AIX Plug-in”, then click “Register”. This solved the issue with AIXProtocol for me.
Hi. Only my Windows relays show up in the Dashboard. Any idea how to enable the AIX Plug-in on a Redhat relay? is that even possible or can only Windows relays patch AIX hosts?
