Hi,

While trying to install the package on an IBM AIX 5.3, this error comes. Anybody faced a similar problem ???

Bump on this old thread.

I’m having the EXACT same issue.

Mount volume 2 on /tmp/tem_deploy/BESAgent-8.2.1093.0.ppc_aix53.pkg.

Where can I find some information about this failure?

For the original issue the wrong client is being installed. BESAgent-6.0.2.68-1.ppc_aix51.pkg is a very old agent and may not fully support AIX 5.3

Please install one of the current AIX 5.3 agents if at all possible.
