After update to 7.2 web report is down

I have updated BES server and consol from 7.1 to 7.2 but my web report can not work the BES Web Reports Server can not start in windows.How can i do to solve the problem?

I would suggest you contact support to see if they can check it out… I don’t think this is a common issue (at least no one reported it yet) so we will need to check the details.

Maybe we find the solution,before do this below ,backup your registy firsr

if “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BigFix\Enterprise Server\BESReports” exists key “XLateFile”

such as

“XLateFile”=“D:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\BESReportsServer\wwwroot\cgi-bin\besreports\WebReportsCHS.xlat”

just delete the key "XLateFile " and then restart the beswebreport server ,it works ok

it’s the simple way

and bigbao ,which language version you are using? maybe not english default

we change the registy to log the webreportserver,the log like below:

it seems that \wwwroot has no \cgi-bin directory. If make directory cgi-bin\besreports and copy the file WebReportsCHS.xlat from D:\Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES Server\BESReportsData\Localization\

it also can work.

Not sure… our developer says it looks like your install was corrupted, but it seems strange it would happen to both of you…

I used fixlets to update all Components.And all actions show 100% finished.
