Affected Computer Count vs Relevant Computers

We’re running into an issue where an admin browsing fixlets in the console sees that the “Affected Computer Count” for a particular critical fixlet is greater than zero, but when he double-clicks the fixlet in an effort to mitigate the vulnerability, no computers are relevant for that fixlet. (In other cases, we’ve noticed that the “Affected Computer Count” is much greater than the number of relevant computers displayed once the fixlet is opened.) This is kind of confusing.

Why does this happen? What exactly is the technical difference between “Affected Computer Count” and “Relevant Computers” ?

Hey David,

It sounds like your cache has been corrupted somehow. This can occur for many reasons and one common reason is if you are using an older version of the “deleted computer remover”.

“affected computer count” is supposed to be equal to “relevant computers”.

If it continues to be an issue, you should open a support case to examine in more detail.
