Adobe X Protected Mode

Now that Adobe Reader X is available, is there a way to turn off the “Protected Mode” after the software is successfully installed?

I understand this was a new security feature that was bundled into this latest version.

Any ideas?

You can disable this through the registry via HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10\Priviledged\ by setting bProtectedMode to decimal 0.
