The correct filename: install_flash_player_17_active_x.exe

The correct filename: install_flash_player_17_plugin.exe

Creating a custom copy of the fixlet where all references to version 16 in the actionscript is modified to 17 works just fine, and it seems like the fixlet relevance is valid.
It’s these kind of breakdowns in the QA process that reduce the confidence some of my Console Operators feel toward the product. Aren’t the fixlets supposed to be tested before they are published?
Not to excuse anything but Flash is a hard target to keep up with as Adobe keeps using the exact same link/name and changing things unexpectedly. The same named file will be updated with a new SHA as minor versions change and as this shows when they do a “major” change the filename changes. We do try and keep up with it but that is one of the hard ones.
For Windows this is becoming a bit less of an issue now that its a Feature addition in the OS itself (Win8/Win2012 or better)

Something I’ve always wondered about; is pulling Flash and Java updates and the like an automated process for IBM, or does someone actually have to have hands on before content is published?
If the latter, I really do feel for whoever has to do that 
We have automated things that tell us that the site gets out of sync with the download, but it depends on the site if the fix can be made automatically.
Publishing a site involves a human however as we want to make sure you all get something that has been checked.
The content for this should have been updated now ( announcements went out to besadmin-announcements )
Any ETA on the fix, it is still not working
The fix is with version 752.
