Adjusting BESConsole time reference on WTS for multiple timezones

(imported topic written by MrFixit)

We have recently gone with centralizing the console on terminal server near the BES Server for performance reasons and are looking to see if there is a work around for the time that BES console presents to the operator. We have operators from several different timezones and it is a common complaint that they would like time to be consistant with their timezone.

I’m hoping that there is a setting that can be placed in a users profile that triggers the console to adjust time presented to that of the operators desired timezone.

thanks,

Hey Gary,

There isn’t an override built into the console, but I believe the console will use the timezone of the logged in user… I think that can be set per-user in Windows…

If the timezone can be set per user on a Windows Terminal Server that would be a great solution, but all of the references that I find related to the topic indicate that it is not possible. Maybe something like Citrix would support that model.

Anyone know if it is possible to do this in windows or not?

thanks,
