"11FileIOError ... Error 0x30%: Read-only file system"?

Hi,

On my Tiny Core Linux Relay, there are errors like this on the Gather Status Report page:

Error Message: 96: File error "11FileIOError" on "/var/opt/BESRelay/wwwrootbes/bfmirror/bfsites/manymirror_96_9_2383496964/1141dc8cf2dce71a24a842c1fa4e553848cff1f9_crt.dat" : "Error 0x30%: Read-only file system"

We’ve seen errors for full disks before, but read-only filesystem errors make no sense. The filesystem is definitely read-write, otherwise the relay wouldn’t work at all. I wonder if these have to do with the Max Open Files Limit.

Also, clients are receiving HTTP 503 errors when attempting to post.

Anyone know what might cause this to happen? We are unsure of how to fix this.

I know little about TCL, but I’d investigate the reasons for this “Error 0x30%: Read-only file system” first.

A hotfix has been provided to us, and it will be included in BigFix 9.5.15. The fix removes some limitations on the TinyCore Linux Relay process that caused a lot of issues, including messages like these.
