You have no idea how much time you cost our company. We all spent hours trying to get animated gifs working and searching the Internet for spinner icons.


Now we need to find a way to hook up pimpmybes.com to gizoogle.com: http://sites.gizoogle.com/index2.php?ur … fix.com%2F

Hey Stacy,

As you know, many of us from BigFix went to school at UC Berkeley (we are located approximately 1 mile from campus and a huge percentage of our technical staff are Berkeley grads).  When Stanford became our customer a few years back, we were happy to get a new quality customer, but deep down we felt like maybe we were betraying our school pride because of the strong rivalry... We decided it was OK... But when you included the Stanford icon inside the BigFix icon, we had to ask ourselves what we were going to do about it...

After some internal meetings here, we realized that we are OK with your icon for the following reasons:
1. Stanford must be feeling terrible after their 0-5 start to the college football season (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=24) compared to Cal being ranked #16 so far (http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/clubhouse?teamId=25).

2. We take pity on you because we know that the deep wounds left by memories of "The Play" (http://youtube.com/watch?v=cUeyOuS70eI) will never quite heal.

3. It must be painful to think that it costs 3 times as much to attend Stanford instead of Berkeley even though Berkeley often ranks the same or higher in quality of education.

4. Unfortunately, we do not yet have UC Berkeley as a customer so we will need to put our company pride before our school pride and consider this one time when Stanford is acting a little smarter than Berkeley.
